London, March 2015

Following the opening of the Bally flagship store on London’s New Bond Street; Bally recently collaborated with students from the London College of Fashion to celebrate the newest and most local talent of the UK fashion industry.

As world class shoe carers and true leaders of innovation since 1851, it was natural for Bally to create a shoe caring service at the New Bond Street store. Bally then challenged students from London College of Fashion to identify and develop concepts for the shoe caring services of the future, using the very latest in technology and materials.

Teachers at the university were inundated with requests to participate in the program. The students of the School of Management and Science researched, analysed and conceptualised an innovative response to the initial brief: "Reinventing unique shoe caring services and products of the future". Project outcomes were then developed by students of the School of Media and Communications to provide creative ways of communicating the new Shoe Therapy services.
